Amber Alert issued for missing infant

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) – An Amber Alert has been issued as the Ludington Police Department searches for a missing child believed to be in extreme danger.

Police say the child, named Katherine Shelbie-Elizabeth Phillips, was last seen in the 900 block of E. Tinkham in Ludington around 1:15 pm Wednesday. The child is described as four and a half months old, two feet tall weighing twelve pounds with blue eyes and no hair.

The child was last seen wearing pink shorts, and a matching pink tank top with black and pink flowers.

Ludington Police believe the child was abducted by Sean Michael Phillips.

Phillips is described as being 21 years old, standing five feet nine inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. Police say they have found Phillips, but Katherine is still missing.

Anyone with information is asked to immediately call 911 or contact the Ludington Police Department at 231-843-3425.

The Ludington Police Department is investigating an incident of an endangered missing child from 922 E. Tinkham, Ludington, MI. The child was last seen at 13:15 pm on 06/29/2011 and is believed to be in extreme danger.

 

The Ludington Police Department says the child was allegedly abducted by Sean Michael Phillips. Sean has been located along with the suspected vehicle.

The child, Katherine Phillips, is still missing at this time. She is described as being four and a half months old, two feet tall weighing twelve pounds with blue eyes and no hair.
