NAMPA, Idaho -- Nampa Police said they have located a missing Nampa boy.

Police located and returned 12-year-old Oscar Hernandez Lopez to his parents Saturday evening.

The boy had left their home early Saturday morning.

Nampa Police wanted to thank the public for their help in locating the runaway.

Police asking for help to locate missing boyNAMPA, Idaho -- Nampa Police are asking for the public's help to find a missing 12-year-old boy.

At 10 a.m. Saturday, Oscar Hernandez Lopez left his residence on Bingham in the west side of Nampa near the intersection of Midland Boulevard and Blaine. He is believed to be a runaway and has clothing with him in a bag or a backpack.

Oscar is 4' 11" and weighs 100 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black T-shirt and dark jean shorts with black tennis shoes.

Anyone with information that will assist in the location of Oscar Hernandez is asked to call Nampa Police dispatch center at 465-2257.
