Canadian-born Jessie Foster was a beautiful, free-spirited young woman, who cops say got mixed up with the wrong crowd. The man lived in the swanky suburb of North Las Vegas and, according to reports, he drove a number of expensive cars. The petite blonde last called her mother on March 24, 2006, planning to come visit her at home in Canada a few days later. But that trip never took place, and cops believe Jessie disappeared for good between March 28 and April 3, 2006. Jessie Foster was last known to be at the home she shared with her boyfriend/pimp, and she has not been seen or heard from ever since. Now, cops need your help to piece together the mystery surrounding her bizarre disappearance. They fear the 49-year-old Stockbridge man is dead because he always kept in touch with them. Starnes lived with his grandmother who raised him since he was a child. His family said a day never went by that he didn't call Granny to let her know where he was. That was until December 7, 2009. Starnes hasn't called her since. Reba Moore, or Granny, had to go to the eye doctor in Stockbridge that day. Ricky Starnes went with her so he could driver her home after her appointment. While she was at the doctor's office off of Highway 138, Ricky walked across the highway to the Sunoco convenience store to get a pack of cigarettes. He never came back. "We posted Stockbridge, the whole area with posters asking if anybody's seen or heard from him," said Starnes' sister-in-law Sheila Seidler. Henry County Police said Starnes was seen on the convenience store's video, buying a pack of cigarettes, but that was the last time he was seen. A year and a half later, family of the NASCAR fanatic who loved fishing, can't help but fear the worst. "I think someone killed him," Seidler said. "He would have called Granny." Seidler said Starnes' family and his Granny spent months searching for him until last August when she died not knowing the whereabouts of her grandson, the man she raised from childhood. "I think that's what killed her, the emotional grief of not knowing, Siedler said. She said she thinks Granny knew her grandson was dead but held on to some hope. "Let's put it this way," she said. "She was on her death bed asking for Ricky." Henry County Police put out a missing person report on Ricky Starnes after exhausting every lead they have in the case. They say it is a last resort to ask the public for help. Missing woman's husband pleads for her return . Jun 15, 2011 ? 1:41 PM ET | Last Updated: Jun 15, 2011 6:33 PM ET Missing person Fang Lin. . There was nothing particularly special or memorable about Ruo Zhao Wei's last telephone call with his wife; he describes it as just a normal conversation. Yet their April 13 exchange may have been the last time Fang Lin would ever speak to her husband. The 40-year-old Markham woman, described by police as a gambling high-roller, disappeared without a trace a week later. On Wednesday, as York Regional Police acknowledged Ms. Lin may have met with foul play, Mr. Wei issued a plea for any information that could lead to her safe return. ?She?s been missing for a long time now and there?s no other leads, and I really hope people will come forth with information, Mr. Wei said through the assistance of a Chinese translator. Mr. Wei, appearing calm, described his wife as a kind and very outgoing woman. I'm getting worried about her, he said. Though the couple have been married approximately five years, they were living separately at the time of Ms. Lin?s disappearance. Mr. Wei, who resides in Mississauga, said this arrangement was in place because of his job, but would not elaborate. Mr. Wei was baffled as to what may have befallen Ms. Lin who police described as a frequent gambler well known in the VIP sections of Ontario and Quebec casinos but acknowledged her lifestyle may have played a role. ?Obviously I know that the gambling lifestyle, there could be danger, he said. When Ms. Lin disappeared, she left a sum of cash inside her rented condominium, and has not touched her bank accounts or used her cellphone since. Her purple Porsche Cayenne was located outside a Richmond Hill commercial plaza, but there were no signs of a struggle. Mr. Lin's 14-year-old son from a previous relationship was living with her at the time, and is now in the care of a guardian, police said. ?The son has become very quiet and doesn't like to talk since his mom went missing,Mr. Wei said. Ms. Lin also has a brother in China who has been trying to come to Canada since she vanished. Last week, York police announced the homicide unit had taken control of the investigation. Police and family are concerned for Ms. Lin's well-being, as she has not had any contact with family or friends, Detective Sergeant Larry Wilson said Wednesday, noting police believe Ms. Lin did not disappear on her own accord. In addition to her gambling habits, Ms. Lin who was unemployed also acted as a private lender, loaning money to business associates. But there is no information of any type of disagreements or any type of arguments over funds, Det. Sgt. Wilson said. Police describe Ms. Lin as Chinese with a light complexion, 5-foot-3, 119 pounds, a thin build, shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black sweater and black skirt. ?If she is safe, I'll be very happy, Mr. Wei said. https://amc-alertmissingchild.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=129017703 129017703 Search continues for missing RI woman Angela Rivera last heard from March 17th Updated: Wednesday, 01 Jun 2011, 4:04 PM EDT Published : Wednesday, 01 Jun 2011, 4:03 PM EDT Melissa Sardelli PAWTUCKET, R.I. Forty-seven-year-old Brett Hall was last seen eight days ago at his isolated lifestyle block ? 20km north of Wanganui. Mr Hall was building a house in hilly terrain and was last seen by a builder working on the property. Senior Sergeant Darcy Forrester says ?the terrain is so dangerous and treacherous that anybody could go in there and fall down a bluff and be injured? Mr Hall was reported missing last Tuesday ? two days after he was last seen. He often drove to Parikino to work on the house he was planning to move to. Mr Hall's Toyota Hilux is still at the property. Police want to hear from anyone who has seen it in the last two weeks. LandSAR volunteers, with Police and specialist army searchers, have spent six days combing a 16 square-kilometre area around his property. Wanganui police say Mr Hall left without locking his caravan door. ?It didn't look like he'd locked it and walked away, it was insecure and therefore we believe he may have been nearby,? says Mr Forrester. They now admit Mr Hall could be the victim of foul play but will not go into detail. The area is known for its Mongrel Mob presence but police say Mr Hall did not have gang connections. Police are still treating this as a search and rescue but as more time passes their suspicions are growing. http://www.3news.co.nz/Police-suspect-foul-play-in-search-for-missing-man/tabid/423/articleID/214035/Default.aspx https://amc-alertmissingchild.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=128084491 128084491 Appeal to trace missing York man 23-year-old Joshua Peter Ffrench 23-year-old Joshua Peter Ffrench from York has not been seen since Tuesday 10 May at his home address on Burnsall Drive in York.
