a 79-year-old man who walked away from his group home last Sunday is still missing. Metro Police say Sidney Inman was reported missing at 8:45 a.m. from his group home at 3303 Hawkwood Lane last Sunday. Inman, 79, has walked away from the group home nearly a dozen times over the years. Officers have searched the neighborhood, checked hospitals, the Union Rescue Mission and other locations without success. They have also been in contact with a motel in Woodbury, where Inman went on one of his previous walk offs. Staff there has not seen him. Inman, who has shown signs of dementia, is white, 5?2? tall, weighs 180 pounds, has gray hair and no teeth. He likes to visit Wal-Mart stores, tobacco stores and the Union Rescue Mission. Anyone seeing Sydney Inman this week or knowing his whereabouts is asked to contact the Emergency Communications Center at 862-8600. Link below
