GRANITE FALLS, Wash. -- Investigators with the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office are looking for a 41-year-old woman who vanished on June 2.
Angela Marie Gilbert was last seen walking with a male friend on some private timber land near the 21400 block of 119th Street NE in unincorporated Granite Falls. She and her friend reportedly left a house in the area to go for a walk along a trail.
The friend returned alone and told others that Angela had decided to continue walking by herself. However, she hasn?t been seen or heard from since.
On Monday, Angela?s mother called authorities to report her daughter missing. Deputies searched the area for her Sunday night but didn?t find her.
Angela?s friends and family have been looking for her, too, and believe they found her shoe near the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River close to the fish ladders.
Detectives are investigating the case and search and rescue volunteers plant to go out to the area today to search as well.
Angela is described as a 5 feet 2 inches tall and 120 pounds. She has blond hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white down coat, blue jeans and black tennis shoes with pink laces.
